Baptist Health offering virtual forum for mental health

Aug. 4--Baptist Health Behavioral Health Clinic is inviting the public to participate in a free, virtual community forum about mental health.

"Common Connections: Healthy Minds" is a three-part series with a team facilitating genuine conversations about mental health, according to a news release. The goal is provide community members an opportunity to share personal experiences and ask questions about mental illness, resources available and treatment.

The dates and topics are as follows:

Thursday: COVID-19 and Your Mental Health

Sept. 3: Self-Care from the Inside Out

Oct. 1: Supporting Mental Health Challenges in Communities

All forums are hosted virtually and begin at 4 p.m.

"The compassionate team in the Behavioral Health Clinic is eager to connect with our community to encourage positive conversations about mental health and how we can support you and your family," the release states.
